World Habitat Day 200 www.unhabitat.org

We are happy to announce that in partinership with U N Habitat, Ministry of Housing, Kenya Mission to U N Habitat, Shelter Forum and several Community Based Groups in Embakasi locality Kaswesha will host this year's Pre-World Habitat Day at K C C Playing Ground, Kariobangi South Location of Embakasi Division on the 4th October 2008.

Among the activities to be undertaken is; Public gathering, Football match between Women of over forty years vs. Nairobi East elected Councilors, Medical Camp, Drama and speeches from invited guests. The shall kick off at exactly 9:00 a.m. and terminate at around 3:30p.m. you are most welcome to share the fun with us and educate our communities. for more details contact kaswesha@gmail.com

World PovertryEradication Day 200 millenniumcampaign.org

We announce that in partinership with UNDP/UNMC, GCAP Kenya Coalition, and several networking CBO's we have planned to have a one week activities to mark this year's Poverty Eradication Day, among the activities shall be mobilizing over 200 Schools and Churches in Nairobi East, mobilize the communities by hosting a Public gathering to discus issues pertaining to povwerty eradication and to STAND-UP and TAKE ACTION IN POVERTY ERADICATION as WHD we shall also have a repeat of the football match and another medical camp which will take place on Saturday 18th October 2008. The World Urban Forum 4 will be hosted by the Government of the Peoples Republic of China in conjuction with the U N Habitat from 3-7th November 2008.
